Create a mobile application for the participants of the Luxury Travel Mart conference in 2016
One of the difficulties in the implementation was a short time and a large amount of functionality.
Work
How to develop a chat quickly and cheaply? Remove interaction via WebSocket. But how, then, to achieve the appearance of real-time interaction? Come up with a communication protocol through push notifications. This allowed us to achieve the desired result and reduce implementation time by 50%.
The result was a social network for conference participants, with a schedule of speeches, a conference map, chat and a news feed. The client has received a database of "almost" all conference participants and remains in touch with them to this day. Profit.
